Pleasing the Toy Makers

I have this hunch that the “Toys for Tots” program, while giving many kids the enjoyment of new toys, really just pleases toy makers.

Rather than us going to stores and buying all of these toys that normally would just set on the shelf for a long time because well kids should use their imagination and creativity and that doesn’t require these kind of toys. I could see a teddy bear, Tonka Truck, or a doll house being good toys but here’s my point.

Let’s buy and raise money for kids that need shelter, food, and water and actual needed material for them and their parents.

Kids are toy makers at heart. So let’s please them where it matters rather than some toy that offers temporary happiness.
