1:34 AM right before I call it a night I talk to you peeps. I haven’t done a video for you in a very long time. I did some reflection and let’s just say I’m happy with my life right now.
If you haven’t heard… I’m launching Resimplify. So, you and your friend should check it out. Have a good day!

Jim Dalrymple on Tech Writing →
Writers need to ready for change because Apple is. Apple will continue to enter more consumer electronics markets, so writers are going to need to understand the technologies in a broader market. That’s going to be tough for some people to do, but it will also open the door for new writers.

You can’t run two businesses and expect strong focus. One reason I’ve focused my attention on Resimplify.

Dan Benjamin on Back to Work:
“I don’t believe it’s possible to have a side business. I don’t think you can have a business on the side. I don’t think you can go to work and have a job and then come home and run a business. I believe that both the job and the side...

Craftsmanship
No matter what you do — designer, baker, electrician, architect, author — your job is your craft. Learn to think of your work as practice towards becoming an absolute expert at what you do. Craftsmanship is not a destination; it’s a life-long discipline.
This is why I feel establishing and holding values is very important to “perfecting” your craft. Reminds me a bit of the 37...

Getting Things Done →
1. My daily routine starts with looking at my whole list of projects on my paper to-do list and then writing the most urgent tasks on a small sticky note. This allows me to focus on the 4-8 things I want to accomplish that day. The small size of the sticky note limits me from trying to put too much on my plate for one day.
2. As I complete each item I simply cross it off. If items don’t get...

Pleasing the Toy Makers
I have this hunch that the “Toys for Tots” program, while giving many kids the enjoyment of new toys, really just pleases toy makers.
Rather than us going to stores and buying all of these toys that normally would just set on the shelf for a long time because well kids should use their imagination and creativity and that doesn’t require these kind of toys. I could see a teddy...

After all, the economist wonders, what’s in it for you?
The very same non-economic contribution is going on online, every single day. More and more of the content we consume was made by our peers, for free.

Hitting Rock Bottom
Defined as reaching the lowest point in life possible at least you think. I’ve been dealing with credit card debt (Dwolla I’m looking at you in the future), car troubles, and feeling like I don’t have that many friends.
I stress myself out a lot, but by hitting rock bottom very recently (yesterday) my ass was truly lit up.
During Thanksgiving break for college I worked hard...
